Then Trix came into the store and she got me a jalapeno/cheese scone from the Farmers Market. Yeah, it's kind of weird tasting. The consistency is closer to that of bread or a muffin than a scone.
I totally took this picture and put a hot pink backdrop behind the scone. THOUGH!

By the way, I HATE SCONES TOO! They are such a terrible disappointment. One time in my life, I had a scone I liked, and I'll tell you why. It was greasy and fresh out of the oven. So, basically, it was closer to a hot donut.
BUT, that being said, anything savory in the am, like jalapeno and chese is yummy!
